What Are Wild Growth Hair Oil Ingredients?

wild growth hair oil

The question of whether or not wild growth hair oil contains sulfur came from recently from a reader. Also listed it the full list of ingredients for the growth oil, just in case you are looking for the it. Let’s talk about Wild Growth Hair Oil briefly before I get into the answer or whether or not it contains sulfur.

Many of us that have been on our hair growth journey for a few years and frequent hair forums became familiar with Wild Growth Hair Oil some years ago. This is definitely not a new product. There have been many women who swear they have received an increase in growth using the oil. I personally have never tried it. I have opted for making my own growth aid. However, if you do not want to channel your inner mixologist, I understand. This post is for you :)

What does it do?

According to the manufacturer’s site, Wild Growth Hair Oil is designed for use by any hair type. The site states the oil will:

  • aid in growth
  • soften hair
  • deodorize the hair between washes
  • improve moisture retention
  • detangle
  • relieves dry itchy scalp
  • fight frizz

This is not a review. As I stated, I have not used the products but someone asked about the product so I wanted to give more info and answer the question.

Does it contain sulfur?

Olive Oil, coconut oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin D, Choline, Inostol, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, and Calcuim.

The ingredients can be a little misleading. It does contain Phosphorus. Now, there is a difference between Sulfur and Phosphorus but for the sake of argument…yes, it does contain sulfur. Both are in the same family of sulfides. I will spare you the Chemistry lesson but if you are sensitive to sulfur, I would not use this product. I would suggest making your own or finding a growth aid that specifically states it does not contain sulfur.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions about this or other products, feel free to email me.
